Detection-as-Code Workshop

Panther and Booz Allen invite you to a hands-on, in-person workshop designed to guide security practitioners and engineers on the principles of detection-as-code (DaC) and give you the opportunity to set up, deploy and manage your own detections to minimize false positives and noise.

In this workshop, you will:

• Receive hands-on training on writing, testing, managing, and deploying Python-based detections
• Leverage common software development tools (such as CI/CD pipelines) to create detection reviews and avoid false positives
• Gain insight into writing detections for common Mitre Attack use cases in under 15 minutes
• Learn how security teams have gone from creating detection in 6 weeks (with legacy SIEM tools) down to 15 minutes with DaC
