What do you do at Panther Labs?
Build a high-performing sales organization that prioritizes culture and integrity first.
How long have you been at Panther Labs?
Since May 2021!
What’s the most exciting part of your day-to-day work?
Everything! But I don’t mean that in a dumb, throwaway answer, kind of way. It’s the combination of everything: helping with opportunities, providing life/career/role advice, drinking 2 too many espressos, talking about Panther with candidates, problem solving with teammates, eating 12 too many chocolate covered almonds, speaking with customers, laughing at Greenblatt’s memes…..doing it all everyday is pretty damn exciting.
What has been your key to success at Panther?
A really incredible team. We’ve been able to move incredibly fast because of it.
Personally, though, high context and high transparency with the team. It’s not always easy to let your guard down at a new company early on, but I’m grateful for a culture that supports that, and doing so has allowed me to acclimate quickly.
What do you feel makes Panther different from other companies you’ve worked at?
It’s hitting on all cylinders sooner than any other organization I’ve been at. That being said, the thing that makes any company truly unique is the company you work alongside, and we’ve got some pretty special folks here.
Who inspires you the most? Why?
This is cheesy, but my parents. A couple 1st generation immigrants who didn’t speak each other’s language when they met, and figured out a way to raise children in America. Love goes a lot further than money.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Nowadays I spend a lot of time at parks or doing mini-hikes with my wife and 1 year old. Separate from that I’m a sucker for Michigan & Detroit sports despite a decade plus of disappointment, and I’m always down for some good sushi, bourbon and golf.
If you could visit any city in the world, where would it be? Why?
I’d go back to Bagan, Myanmar. That city brings a new meaning to serene and I can’t wait to get back.
